Dr. Poland never fails to take the time to educate as well as care for the animals in his charge. He explains everything to help to make the best decision and he NEVER EVER rushes a visit so you know he has taken the time needed. He helps to make the best possible decisions for both the pet and the owner so every test is explained so that both need and cost are thought out. When I was laid off they worked with me on Spankys meds as he is 15 and needed heart medicine. Without Dr. Polands help, I could not have afforded the care. In addition, when my dog Rascal, who passed on in 2008 at the age of 18 needed special care, again Dr. Poland worked with us so that Rascal got the care he needed. To this day, though Dr. Poland and staff say otherwise, I know they did not charge me the great amount it had to have taken to treat Rascal. That is the kind of Vet he is. No words can begin to describe the kindness and care in this mans heart for both his animal and human charges!

I adopted Happy, a rescue who had no bottom jaw. At the same time my Vet. was retiring and Dr Julie Dudak was taking over his practice. I went very skeptical about her Dr. Dudak was a young bubbly woman who I immediately loved. She held Happy and kissed all over him, but the most important part was he kissed her and wagged that tail. He didn't make over many people. Happy was a very old guy that had lots of medical problems. Dr. Susan was always available to msg, call, any time and when the time came to help him over to the rainbow bridge. She and her tech shed tears with me. They truly care and it means the world to me. Now my new rescue Koda that has a partial jaw sees her also. It's not unusual to see her sitting in the floor hugging a dog, cat, pig or even duck. She loves the animals and it shows. We all love her. I also have a cat and another dog the are healthy that see her yearly for a checkup and preventative meds. She is a Saint for all she did for Happy. They also have a (EllieMae) Fund to help with animals that don't have an owner or need emergency medical attention. I have tried to donate when I can. Don't forget that people who love their jobs do a much better job. Dr Dudak has so much compassion and it shows. â¤ðŸ•
